Well we're doing our best insofar as she has to be kept as an outside cat, but she has her own quarters in the back garden so hopefully she'll be ok

Shes lovely

Upset me too just as shes sooooooooooooo like the cat we lost just over a month ago she got knocked down in the road next to us. Sammi had a little pink nose though but apart from that she was so like your Tipsy

She slept in her little house for the first time last night ! With a big fleecy blanket, she likes it so much she came out for brekkie then went straight back in !

I need to get her back to the vet soon to be vaccinated, would microchipping be a good idea too , incase she strays again ?

What part of Ireland are you in urban/rural - only I was wondering about microchipping Zelda and Kits but think being out in the sticks noone would check a chip - what did the vets advise (interested to know if I should do mine)?

Both myself and the cat are urban chicks !!

I haven't checked with the vet yet but I'll enquire before I take her in for her vaccination..

I was thinking of one of those safety collars with a phone number on them but from what I remember of the cats we had when I was younger the collars never lasted long !

Think if you're in city then it may be more worthwhile - it's not that expensive for peace of mind. My cats always lost collars and hated them so they don't wear them at all but they're indoors cats - I'd prob be tempted to put a reflective one on an outdoors cat - think people would be more likely to call no on a collar than have the cat scanned for a chip.
