She is a very, very lucky girl to have found her and it's clear you will do right by her - maybe she will be kind to you and have them on a weekend.
I stayed up all night thinking Zelda was more likely to have them then and she went and popped in the middle of the afternoon!

Make sure you worm her - guess being wormy could complicate things and also don't they take nutrients from food etc too - she will really need all she can get now

Good Luck and keep her posted we will all be here with you for kitten watch

Talking Re: Desperately seeking help!

Thanks Guys - you have all been fab and very reassuring. I will let my husband read all your comments - he's even more stressed than me, he's a caring sort.

I'll keep you all updated and hopefully at the end of it all be posting some cute kitten pictures if all goes well!

Becky, about the worming question, ask your vet for panacur paste, it's safe to give a pregnant cat, as a one off dose before having the kittens
Your quite right she did, but Becky also does not know how hard it is to judge when they are going to be born, so I am just helping with alternatives. I agree if she can get the time off thats great, but as she has since expressed, her boss is not always that easy, so maybe just maybe my suggestions may come in handy.

At no point did I say "No Becky, whatever you do, don't take time off!" did I???
