Anyone cook, make and treats goodies for their cats and if so what - Zelda is mad for the raw meat but Star not so and I feel she is missing out - so lots of ideas please...

Re: Another post about food...

Two of my girls both are 9 years are not sure of the raw meat so they get Natures Menu or Hi Life, or Tesco Luxury and they love it. None of this 4% pish for my lot!

Well she gets Orijen and either Applaws/Almo or Cosma (which ever is best offer) I just wanted to give her an extra little treat now and then.
She likes the kittens Evap milk mix but I'm not sure it is good for her

Re: Another post about food...

I tend to do grilled chicken or poached white fish for my babies. They also seem to like mashed potatoes and steamed green beans occasionally (not a whole plate-ful, just a mouthful to taste).

Ha ha ha, this made me laugh... I think I will test mine out with a full roast... just trying to work out how I can get them to hold the knife and fork!

Re: Another post about food...

I give mine cooked and raw meats (chicken, turkey, beef, etc), and especially raw chicken drumsticks for their teeth. Alaska loves prawns, so she has a few on occasion. Baggy starts the day with goats yogurt, that's his breakfast of choice. They both like raw egg yokes.

I would love to do a raw diet for them, and I really did consider it a one point but got cold feet because I was just so worried that I might get something wrong and their health would suffer as a consequence. I try and incorporate as much good quality meat into their diet and then use a wet food that I think is the next best thing.

Oh god, how could I forget Thrives! Mine go mad for them and I sometimes put them in a treat-ball to keep them amused for ten minutes or so.
