Hi one of my 8 day old kittens has stopped feeding, he is crying constantly, has lost weight and has saliver all round his mouth.
I have a vet appointment in an hour, what can I expect?

Sorry cant give you any advice.Hope its ok though bless. Fingers crossed its nothing serious

i had this problem with my kitten i took her to the vet and they just told me
to hand feed her every 3 hours...
i bought pet life cimicat and a siringe
and was told to give him 1ml every couple of hours...
it cost £15.00 a tin but it was good and help him xxx

hope all goes well dont forget that if you are feeding kiits,afterwards wipe bum area with a bit of folded up kitchen roll wet with warm water to make them pee/poo.

Thanks, but unfortunatly when I got to the vets it was not good news. The kitten had been born with a cleft pallet and had to be put down.

poor little mite but how come he has survived for 8 days tho???

i wish they could do something for lil cleftys
