I've never known them get to 8 days, normally problems show soon after birth with not latching on, gaining weight ect. I always check for cleft palate after they're born.

yes i bet u was its so horrible losing a lil baby ... i lost one of my pups from my first litter at 7 days old and i still think about him now, i held him to the end. he was layed to rest in my garden

really am so sorry to hear this little soul had to be pts, it is heartbreaking
