Re: Cat Litter

I have been recommended this to try for my kittens so think I may be switching to it soon too - hope my Queen will use it - she was very difficult to litter train initially - hopefully now she is she'll try something new

Re: Cat Litter

Hello,

If you have a pet store or farm shop nearby that caters for poultry you can get chick crumb, this works just as well as Worlds best but is a fraction of the cost. Totally safe for young cats as it is basically corn so will not have any ill effects should kittens eat it.

Best wishes

Oh thats a good idea!

I like worlds best because its safe and biodegradeable. I use the mats that catch litter when they come out of the tray, i havent found that it tracks

Re: Cat Litter

Hi,

I would like to shake the person by the hand who invented those little mats, brilliant idea lol. The one thing I love about Worlds best is the smell of it (obviously before they use it) for some mad reason it reminds me of coffee!!

I have tried tidycat and have to say I couldn't stand it but each to their own really. You find a litter you like you tend to stick to it.

You're welcome Kelly Worlds best/chick crumbs ect is good, but they do go down to dusty stuff and then you end up with yelow powder all over off their paws. It's ok for the kittens though, they only have tiny feet so don't tend to grind it down so much

I wouldn't recommend using chick crumbs - I heard this tip before and because my aunt owns a chicken farm and I could get this for free I gave it a try.
What an absolute nightmare
The dust went everywhere and cleaning up the mess was such a pain - I decided it wasn't worth it even if it was free
