Re: my 5 week old kitten - having problems :(

I feed royal canin dry kitten food, wet food is mainly water, and has little nutritional value.I have fed pets at home kitten dry food, which is ok,nature diet is a wet food with a higher meat content, these are about 70p a sachet.apparently tescos finest cat food is quite good.

Wow - love you picture and the names...
Lots of people on here recommend Orijen - I have just ordered a bag but couldn't say on experience - I used to feed Hills but they support animal tests
Orijen can be bought on Zooplus website and seems a good option because one bag is good for all ages of cats which suits me as I have an old lady, nursing mum and 3 babes and you are in a similar position I suppose - that is the dry type bag of food.
I give a bit of canned food to complement or meat if I have it.

Emily

Edited to say Sheeba not much better than Whiskas and vets are usually on a comission with these companies

Re: my 5 week old kitten - having problems :(

I have not yet tried it but can't see it going wrong think it is more like 70% meat and no fillers - fillers are cereals and stuff that cats just need - I get the idea that too much of some can even harm a cat.
I am no expert myself and am still learning and have taken advice from people on here and found it really useful - the big binus with this food to me is the one bag suits all - it annoys me all these various different types as I have different cats with different needs and they all eat together.

I am so impressed with this site too - the pictures section is lovely and there are even games and tornaments although I haven't dared tried one yet coz I'd probably be cr*p

Hope all goes well - with it all - keep us posted on the kittens and kittens to be (I think you cat's due isn't she)?

Emily

On your page you can add pics to an album and then you can use the url code at the bottom to add them to a message using the add picture button on the advanced message button at bottom.
Or you can use advance message and click the paperclip to add attachment and just do straight from the files on your computer.

I have 5 fur babies and two no-furry kind - Ethan (nearly 4) and Matilda (nearly 2).

ps. must head off to bed now - speak again soon.
