Yes we have had a kitten we were convinced had escaped,but he had found a space under my daughters bed and just fallen fast asleep, no amount of shouting roused him and by the time I was totally frantic the kitten finally wandered out wondering what all the fuss about and was looking for his dinner.

I am sure you have tried this but what about tapping a food bowl with a spoon that usually brings them out from their hiding places. I do hope you find her, Im sure you will.
