Cat Toys

Anyone know of any good toys for a cat. My cat seems to get bored easily and just wondered if you lot have any suggestions??

He did have a few toys but they all broke when he was about 5 months, he is now 9 months. He has a scatch post which is medium sized and some toys including a tunnel. He does go outside but will come in after about hour.

Re: Cat Toys

Hi

I got a cardboard box and taped it up and cut different sized holes in each side (some square, some round, some oblong) and popped toys inside.
They love it cos they get their paws in and play and also sometimes get in through the holes.
Plus now i have 2 kittens one goes inside and the other is on the outside and they play together like that

Re: Cat Toys

I also try screwed up and rolled paper into balls. Or that bubblewrap and use sellotape to make it into a ball.

I actually saw the box idea in one of my cat magazines and thought it was great and then made it myself!

Re: Cat Toys

Also tried loo roll inside and he gets bored after a second with them.

Loves his mice toy but hides it everwhere.

Cardboard hopefully should work. Going to see if i can find one after work.

Re: Cat Toys

You could hang the mice in his box from some thick string or something, then he could'nt hide them, lol

Re: Cat Toys

My cats are adults and I haven't any toys left....

I'm going to have to start getting creative for the three kittens so thanks for starting a helpful thread!
