Cold weather and hour changes

Since we've changed our clocks the cats seem to be sleeping more and longer. I dunno maybe because its getting darker (completly dark at 5pm) that they head to bed early. They seem to be more active in the morning unforuntly

Anyone notice this with their cats?

We also dont have the heating on much so it cold here which might affect there activity level?

Re: Cold weather and hour changes

I haven't seen any change in ours other than the ones outside who are more restless because of these awful winds.

Re: Cold weather and hour changes

Mine are sleeping a lot. Cats seem to have this ability to switch off when the weather is horrible.

Hahaha I have no idea but once she's gone she tears around the house for about half an hour!

Must be all those gases propelling her forward

Re: Cold weather and hour changes

lol yep our place resembles Silverstone, out the litter tray - pit stop for bum check (semi-longhaired cats) then several laps around the house. Winner gets much applaws however no pussycat doll waiting at the touchline
