Lewis not really growing

Our 2 kittens which we've had like a month are doing well, but....

Jenson, the grey and white kitty is growing well, putting on weight and well, i was away this weekend just gone fri-mon and came back and seen that he's grown in that short space of time

Lewis, was the smaller of the two to begin with...and yeah, he's grown, but he's barely putting on weight...yet he eats like its going out of fashion!!! His brother happily waits for food, but lewis hunts around for it and if we have meat on our plate or any human food at alll, he does all he can to nick it off and then we'll feed him enough to fill a large dog, he still asks for more yet he doesnt seem to be putting on any weight, just growing

They are both around 4 1/2 months old now

We have wormed them since they came back to us, so maybe its worms and the tablets havent just taken affect yet, unless he is just gonna be a lanky cat haha

Re: Lewis not really growing

Did you use a drontal or anything like that wormer from the vets or some thing from the supermarket as they dont always work very well?

Re: Lewis not really growing

When we got them from the rehoming center we got given worming tablets from them.

Just for himself he ate half a packet of food, some whiskas one and then came after food on our plates, which we stopped him doing cos we dont feed them off our plates

Re: Lewis not really growing

Im not sure so check with your vet but I think kittens should be wormed every month untill 6 months old then as an adult cat

Re: Lewis not really growing

we noted tonight, jenson is bigger then what jack was at 6months old, as thats what age we adopted him

so if jenson is 4 and half months and bigger then jack was at 6months, its worrying how big he's gonna turn out ahha cos jacks a monster! If i remember rightly jack weighs just over a stone
