He is fine now thank you, we put it down to a furball, but we have ceased feeding the dry for the time being. He is an old cat, and has got quite greedy of late have therefore made an appointment for tomorrow evening at the vets just to get him checked over.

Furballs are a pain in the backside. I am pleased he is feeling better.

Older cats do seem to eat more and exercise less. I was feeding mine pouches big enough for two cats twice a day. The vet suggested I put my cat on a diet so I used to buy dry food suitable for senior cats and wet food (small pouches) one twice a day.
