Just wanted to add my two pennies worth!
My boys have been on Hills Dry since I got them and me thinking I was doing the right thing got some of the Hills Kitten Tins - WELL THEY ONLY HVAE 4% meat TOO!!! I just couldn't beleive it!

Oh dear! I take it thats the case with most of the supermarket brands since i dont recognise any of the other brands mentioned in this post? Chilli has been super hyper since i started her on it- im clearly going to have to re-think this one! Thanx for letting me know!

I have to say mario has hills dry and he loves it, he also has a high quality wet food as well. We tried the hills wet and its crap.
Also before I knew all about high quailty foods and meat content, I had a lovely cat who lived to a ripe old age on whiskers.
