Willow's Big Day

Hi, I just need to vent as our foster cat Willow is at the vets being spayed at the moment and I'm a nervous wreck! I can collect her at half 3, and I can't wait. Are cats usually dozy from the anaesthetic when they come home?
Thanks

Re: Willow's Big Day

Dont worry to much she will be fine. She may be a little dozy it depends how old she is & the length of time she has been out of anesthetic, she will probably have a nap when she is home & feels settled again

Re: Willow's Big Day

She's home and fine, but I've noticed our other cat has been acting strangely around her - even hissing when she went to share food from his bowl (she does this all the time, and usually he is fine with it). Has anyone else found changes in their other cats' behaviour after one has had the snip?
Thanks

Re: Willow's Big Day

Princess was awful. She went in for her op a killer kitty & come out a scared of everything inc me!

Having her OP done changed her sooooo much...For the better mind!

All the other cats was fine, Although they knew princess smelled of the vets & took a wide birth around me for days lol

Hehe, yeah it could be the vet smell - even I could smell it on her, and I did see Loki sniffing around Willow before he got moody!
