Argh! Bandaging a cat!

I just spent the last half hour trying to sort Milo out.

I looked over and noticed blood on the rug so looked at the dogs feet, nothing. Then looked at milo and he has cut his toe.
It's not bad but I don't want it getting dirty.

So I got some warm water and cotton wool but had a bloomin hard job keeping him still!! I tried wrapping him in OH's hoodie but he somehow escaped down the sleeve! Lol

But not before I could clean most of the dried blood and cut away a little hair to stop it going in the hole.

He now has a lovely red bandage on and my arm is covered in claw marks, my jumper covered in hair!

Cats!

Re: Argh! Bandaging a cat!

haha there impossible aye I don't envy your position, I had a hell of a job trying to keep a bandage and get it on my cat Gracie when she hurt her paw by stepping in the sink on a knife. the vet didn't put it on tight enough and she just flicked it off, so stressful

Re: Argh! Bandaging a cat!

He tried to shake it off but I used the sticky bandage
Gave him some supper and he's sleeping on the couch now

I don't expect the bandage to still be on in the morning but hopefully it will give the hole enough time to start healing.
