Bozita query

Hello!
Well, I have decided (on the advice of several recommendations from here) to try Gilbert and George on Bozita cartons and also Applaws dry food... the cartons are 360g each - do i feed them the same quantity i was giving them before (around 135g of wet a day over 4 meals plus a sprinkling of dry on top - trying to feed them up due to weight loss from tummy probs).... or is it less with bozita due to the better quality meat content? On zooplus it says to give a 1kg cat 90g of bozita a day - my two are about 1.4kg so was thinking of upping that a bit but i am planning on giving them the applaws dry food too... Any thoughts graetfully recieved!
Zoe x

Re: Bozita query

If you are trying to feed them up then I would give them as much as they want to eat, without allowing them to overload their tums. Lots of small meals throughout the day is probably the best way if they have sensitive tummies. Give them a chance to digest the food in between.

If they do have sensitive tummies and have just recovered from the runs, I would be careful with the applaws dry. Alot of the people I know that have tried it have reported diarrhoea and sickness afterwards.

I got the applaws dry on recommendation that it'd help with problem tummy as think gilbert has an intolerance to grain/cereals/rice etc and this is grain free... but i'll give it to them gradually - prob once they've settled on the bozita...

Spearmint is on a distinguished road
Re: Bozita query

Hello again

We are currently giving half a carton at about 7:30am, 30g of dry at 12:30pm, half a carton at 5:30pm, 30g of dry at 10pm
The wet is usually gone in 10 minutes and the with the dry it varies how long it stays in the bowl for.
We also give 1/4 a carton of kitten milk about 9pm-ish and a raw chicken wing every saturday night.

This is for 2 x 3.5mth kittens, not sure how much they weigh at the moment but they were 1.6kg and 1.4kg 3 weeks ago.

I don't know if this helps you
