A pattern to dissapearing?

I made a post a while ago about my cat Milo being missing, and since he came home that time he has been in every day.

But on saturday he followes on a walk and on the way back the lady with the vizsla passed us and her dog chased Milo. He hasn't been back since.

So I am thinking that he gets spooked by a strange dog and goes off somewhere for a while.

He also dissaperaed when we had our friends dog for 2 weeks milo was gone from almost the end of the 2 weeks after the dog chased him out the garden and he came back a week later.

I wish people wouldn't let their dog chase cats!
I hope he comes back soon!

Every time he goes now part of me is going 'oh he will come back' and the other part is thinking 'what if he got scared and got hurt?'

Re: A pattern to dissapearing?

It sounds like Milo doesnt like dogs lol not to blame him, most would chase them given the chance!

Its a shame some people let their dogs chase them, I would never allow Cola to do it and she doesnt bat an eyelid at them now.

Theres not much you can do unfortunately as dogs are everywhere, chances are he ran off and is taking a few days vacation lol it is worrying tho
