Was sound asleep and the house alarm goes off. To say I sh!t myself is an understatement!!! So I was big and brave and went to investigate and noticed the lounge door slightly open. Well that was it!!! My heart was proper thudding in my chest and I thought I have got to do this!
I called out "Come out now!" thinking I was about to come face to face with a burly burglar and still Cr*pping myself. Guess who trots out the door?
The cat. Yes thats right Dorrie had manged to get in the lounge and set the alarm going. I have never been so relieved in all my life, although she did get a telling off from me and I am now going to put the footstool against the door to stop her getting in from now on
I did learn though that when it comes to protecting the kids the lengths I am willing to go to. I surprised myself.

Same thing happened to me at 1am last week! We have pet friendly PIR's but I think one of the kittens jumped up high and set it off. I was on my own with my son at the time! Scary!

I'm so glad i don't have an alarm for my two to set off. You were very brave to go and investigate whilst on your own. Hope you had a phone with you just in case.
