Re: cats and children

They look really sweet and the white cat looks really happy to me. I think cats let children know when they've had enough by slinking off. My Bertie used to spend all his time with the six year old boy next door, but then when the boy got a little bit more boisterous and brought his friends round too Bertie just did a disappearing act. So as long as the cats have some way of escaping if they want to I wouldn't worry too much.

Re: cats and children

If a cat lies on you with its tummy exposed it is very relaxed and happy. Exposing the vulnerable tummy is only done when they are relaxed, happy and feel no threat. A cat won't tolerate being held when it doesn't want to and will run away. They both look happy (especially Salem) and contended - as do the kiddies.

Re: cats and children

I think your cats love their cuddles as much as your children love to cuddle them.

Fabulous

They are so cute. Dorrie goes and sleeps under my bed when she doesn't want to be disturbed.
