Re: Need Advice!!
i have had the same dilemma before, i think the best way to do it is to have them in seperate rooms where they can smell eachother under the door, can communicate with eachother aswell. let them out into the same room with your supervision just incase so they can smell eachother and get used to eachothers scents, i wouldnt suggest leaving them alone in the same room to begin with incase the cat you already have gets territorail uwill find over a few weeks they will begin to purr through the door at eachother and call to eachother through the door thats the signto say they are ok with eachother, i took this advice from my cat encyclopidia and it made me feel that the cats were safer whilst is wasnt home in the first few weeks but they are all fine with eachother now you may find that when you 1st introduce them to eachother they may get along perfectly and you may not need to do this but if they do hiss a little or growl its safer for both cats hope this helps and good luck
