My daughter is away this weekend and the B&B she is staying in has a litter of persian x kittens.

Since the loss of my beloved "Flake" she knows how much I would dearly love another white kitten

The lady says they are all girls but the one my daughter has chosen for me she feels may be a boy!! Now not that my daughter knows anything about sexing kittens and yes I too feel she is wrong to question the lady but she has sent me these photos to see if I can tell.

Well as they are from her phone I am not sure.

What do you all think??

Thankyou for the quick replies.

Sorry I went off quick but after getting back to my daughter I had her in tears saying she couldnt leave the kittens in the state they were being kept in.

She knew I wanted a female. No real reason just because I had always had a female. The one she had picked out had 2 blue eyes and she liked that one.

Anyhow the story was that the woman had 2 kittens. 1 blue eyed and 1 odd eyed. She said they were both female but my daughter could see a difference hence the photo sent.

They were kept in a stable on wet straw. Both top and bottom doors were kept locked so the mother could not get into them and I presume but dont know they didnt see day light!.


My daughter paid for both the kittens, one for me and one for her friend. I have just travelled to meet them half way to pick up my little girl......OMG

.....she is in such a sorry state.

Her ears are black with gunk and mites, she has the most enormous pot belly, flea dirt ( although cannot see any fleas and my daughter said she did spray them with something that had the same bottle looking like Frontline but wasnt, she did try and see what the name was and said it was something like Virkon???

She has no weight on her at all and is really fine boned. Apparently there was no water in the stable for them and she was being fed on dog food....not tinned but huge dried moistened down. My daughter said it was a wonder that they could fit any in their mouths.

Anyhow we are home now. I have not let her out of the carrier yet. Its a huge airline dog carrier so just put a small amount of food in (which she devoured) and am having a cup of tea before I start cleaning her.

Can I bath her? or do you think cotton wool moistened all over? Her feet are pink where she has been on wet straw and also her tail has not got a lot of hair too.

O I feel so saddened looking at her.

I just hope Gyp and Lou lou are ok with her as she is so traumatised.

Photos can be misleading....if you are in any doubt take the kitten to a local cat breeder or your vet

Hi Virkon is a disinfectant- will not work in treating for fleas or worms.

Hahah she probably has got it totally wrong but she said the name was similar too???

I have just clean out her ears ...they were so bad. I have only Logic ear cleaner in but got so much gunk out. She must feel so much better.

Her feet are so cold and the tips of her ears but as I said she is eating and no runny eyes or nose thank god
