Hi everyone
Well as the title says im still trying to find the perfect cat litter for both me and my partner and mabel. My partner has a bad dust allergy, so we're having trouble finding the best one. The usual gravel ones are a no no, we tried clean and tidy from pets at home, which said was 99% dust free, it was awful even mabel wasnt keen she had watery eyes the whole time we were using it. We then tried the wood pellets again to see if they would be any good a 2nd time round (first time mabel wouldnt use them) they are ok until they get wet and turn to sawdust, which then aggrivates my partners allergy. So I really need some advice on a totally dust free litter, I dont mind if its clumping or non clumping as poos are removed straight away but I just need it to be 100% dust free. I noticed tesco sell a paper based litter, they state its dust free, has anyone tried it? thanks in advance Nula |

Re: Still in search for the perfect cat litter. Advice needed
how about garden soil? I don't think any of the other commercial brands are dust free - but you cvould buy a huge bag of compost or just use stuff out of the garden - my dad used to do this years ago before decent cat litters and I don't ever remember that being dusty.

Have you World's Best Extra Strength which is made of corn? It's not totally dust free but your partner may not be allergic to corn?

Fresh News, Yesterdays News (both from R & L Pet Products, mail order or buy at shows), and Breeder Celect (Pets at Home, but rather pricey) are all dust free.
Fresh News is my personal favourite, have never found anything better. |
