Hi guys

Is your boy cat cuddlier than your girl cat? My boy is a real softy and a total lap cat but my girl never settles for a cuddle. She is so cute though and will climb over me and lick me on her way past ..... but I want more love from her. Lol

My late cat Perry used to lay in our arms like a baby he loved cuddles and he used to lay around my son's neck like a scarf and he was so relaxed ,he was very affectionate.
I have had many cats over the years and i have to say i have been very lucky with mine. We had a male Manx cat who did not like to be cuddled at all infact he did not like to be picked up ever.

My kittens are friendly but the male is far more likely to want a fuss and cuddle than the female ,she is a bit shy.

Out of my 4 cats.....one of them Stitch is the most cuddly! She is a cat that you can pick up and cuddle for ages!

Arnie my only boy likes cuddles but not as long as Stitch........not by a long shot!

Neither of mine are really cuddly, but it is my girl cat who sleeps on my bed everynight, so i suppose that is her way of wanting to be near us.

Nope, my boy is very aloof and doesn't like cuddles at all - my girl loves her cuddles, can be cradled like a baby and will curl up with you for hours on end.

my girl is very independant and doesnt like to be stroked much or cuddled. she only ever sat on my lap the 1st night we got her - see avatar lol

but my boy loves a lap and a cuddle. but i dont know if that is cos he is younger. also he didnt really have much human contact before us as he was in the shelter from 3 months to 7 months poor guy!

My boy cat Rocky is sooooo affectionate and loving - he totally melts my heart.
When I'm sitting on the sofa watching TV he always climbs onto me for a cuddle. Sapphire does occasionally but not as much, she's pretty independant. She does curl up next to me alot though and follows me around the house - She is a cutie!

Tigsy loves cuddles and if you are watching tv she will sit on my chest and sleep, she has even taken to burrowing under the blanket I keep on the sofa

Timmy on the other hand hates being picked up but loves his ears being tickled so normally sits next to me waiting for me to tickle him

I obviously have the soppiest cats ever which I just love

I would say Tia is more affectionate, maybe clingy is the right word lol She has to be with me at all times whereas my boys will just come for a cuddle now & then.

my 3 year old tom is very aloof, likes to lay on the bed but only when no ones in it.My frazzle(died) was the most affectionate little thing any cat lover could ever wish to meet(miss him so much)My two new kittens, brother & sister 6 monthes old are also very affectionate in different ways They clamber all over each other to get closer to my face than the other one Rolo(boy)will not be cradled but kizzy (girl)will lay for hours purring in my arms But most of all they are devoted to each other and love to sleep in a big "cat tangle"
