Sooty & Sweep Update
As most of you are aware I knew I was taking on kittens that needed a little extra TLC. After only a few days with us they have started their anti-flea and worming treatments.
Their bald patches are furring, and their coats aren't as dull and are becoming smoother instead of be-draggled. They seem really happy. Sooty is a lot more confident, he's really adventureous although not as affectionate as Sweep who is the cautious one. Sweep fell asleep with me after their romp Sooty chose the back of the chair. Both are happy for Duke our SBT to be around and yesterday evening Sooty jumped from the settee and landed on the chew Duke was chewing. Duke turned his head and moved away slightly Sooty sniffed and explored the chew as I was taking it away and gave it back to Duke. Here are a few pictures of them from yesterday. Sue PS The house looks scruffy because I am using throws to try to protect the suite as much as possible. They do look a like Sweep is a little bigger than Sooty, although Sooty seems heavier, Sweep has a white patch on her little belly.
I have put loose collars on them cos hubby can't tell them apart, baby pink and pale blue. Only one problem Sweep the little lass always cries before a poo. It looks as though she can't get comfy and gets frustrated she will dig sit, dig sit and re-dig before she final does the deed. Her poos look normal. It did worry me the first time it happened I thought she could be constipated. She doesn't seem to be. She seems healthy enough she is eating, drinking and very active Their next vets appointment is on Friday for their jabs, I will mention it then if things don't settle down. Unless forum members think I should take her to the vets now. Sue
