could it be cat allergy ?

A friend got 2 kitterns a few months ago,both have been flead etc,but the past couple of weeks one of her children has come out in large itchy spots and keeps getting them everyday,there are 4 people living in this house and only this child has got these spots,could it be cat allergy,?

it could be dose she have troble breathing around the cats or sneezee around the cats as my mate can not come in my house as i have cats and when she dose she itches and sneezee and find it a little hard to breath and go red in the face she when to the doctors and they tested her for it hope this helps

Thanks for your answer ,the child is 8yrs hes had what looks like a cold for awhile but he often has colds,he is covered in these spots,the cats have been flea treated,and now the whole house has been treated just incase ,there is another child in the house plus 2 adults and none have these spots,

spots are an unlikely allergy symptom on their own. Sounds like flea bites. SOmetimes the fleas prefer just one member of the family. What flea treatment are the family using - Dr Martin is useless. They need to be using Advantage or Frontline.

Frontline has been used,i feel so sorry for this child he is covered from head to feet in these spots,
