I am relocating from Sydney to the UK with my two Burmese boys. I currently have a great scratching post that they love. The post is covered with carpet as opposed to sisal string.
Do you know of anywhere that I will be able to purchase something similar in the UK as I won't be bringing mine with me. I will be located in Hampshire. |

Re: Recommend any Scratching Posts?
Try Kalven cat scatching posts and poles This is Kalven's site. They do deliver. A bit pricey but they are solid and certainly withstand the bigger cats like the Raggies and they usually have both carpet and sisal. You can also alter the design a bit if you want.
As already mentioned there are plenty of climbers on ebay or try zooplus.

Re: Recommend any Scratching Posts?
Hi
I was looking for cat trees/scratching posts for my two Maine Coons and Selkcah who breeds Norwegian Tree Forest cats recommended this: Catrix Cat Activity Centre & Scratching Post Its absolutely brillant - no screws, no bolts, modular and no unsafe bits. Look at the video on the site - you can expand it and you see 2 Maine Coons playing on it - which = stable! it comes with sisal and furry stuff posts. The guy who sells it is very, very approachable. They also have stands at cat shows. I ordered via the web and got it delivered - absolutely no probs. |
