Duke is really good with them but I've never heard such an aggressive noise from such sweet little kittens, it was so bad yesterday when we brought them home I took Duke into the Kitchen so I didn't stress the kittens too much.

Today is a different story they haven't shown any aggression towards Duke today and they have played in the room with Duke laying down watching them, no for long, I think I will use the slowly but surely approach. I introduced them one at a time by holding them in my hand to let Duke have a sniff and offered Duke a piece of cheese as a reward.

They just needed time to settle Duke is with them now but they are in the crate at the moment as they fell asleep and I need to crack on with some housework.

They are so bold you wouldn't believe, I had forgotten how high they can jump at such a young age too. They don't stick together each of them explores the opposite side of the room and gets into mischief.

We are all having a whale of a time

Thanks it is one more than we bargained for so they are definitely keeping us fit to drop but I wouldn't change it for the world.

I'm putting so many grins and smiley faces on this thread can you tell I'm chuffed.

and they have settled down to boot.

Hubby named Sooty the one we chose, but when we were told they couldn't find a home for one of the kittens I wanted to call them Sapphire and Steel but no hubby wanted Sooty and Sweep as they are easy names for our grandson 18 months old to say, well that's his excuse

I'm not bothered so long as I have got them, I've been referring to them all as boys, like steady boys when they were unsure yesterday of Duke and good boys when things go well. Oh well the little lass might end up with an identity crisis

So far that's been the best buy, they love it. That's the toy I put on the settee while Duke was in the room and I brought both kittens in and popped them on the settee while Duke lay down on the floor. Cheeky chappies though jumped down to check Duke out, Duke thought great playtime but they are not quite ready for that yet.
