The Twins will become famous soon enough
Unhappy Argh not again

Right, please bear with me on this one... My two little twins have been up and down in terms of runny tummy problems! I have had them three weeks and have had several trips to the vets with upset tummy probs, resulting in a course of antibiotics, special food and pro-kolin paste... They have been fine for a week and have been weaned slowly back onto normal food from the vets food (over the course of a week) and have been fine. But then this morning, George, went to use the litter tray and his 'toilet' was really runny at the end... normal colour and not noxious in fumes but runny. Could this just be the new food - i read that some peoples cats can be funny with different flavours of food (I am feeding them Hi-Life kitten chicken variety pouches and Prescription ID dry chicken food) so maybe it could be that as they had a new flavour of Hi-life chicken pouch for breakfast...?? Any advice would be gratefully received!

Re: Argh not again

They were on whiskas to begin with as this is what the breeder was giving them but was plannign to change them onto Hi-life asap when they got their tummy probs. Vet said not to put them back on to Whiskas again - which i agreed with as think its horrid stuff. So, they're now on a mixture of hi-life wet pouches and Hills dry...

I feed my two Hi-Life pouches and I have noticed lately that the ones containing liver or duck seem to upset my girl's tummy a bit. It is a pity you cannot buy packs without these in

Re: Argh not again

Thanks bellablue - i think this is prob whats happened as gave them a different variety with Duck in and, without being to graphic and gross, his poop is fine in colour and odour but was just runny towards the end...! Am hoping its just the food and nothing else as they're fine in themselves and dont want to have to postpone their vaccinations again!
