Re: Pet insurance

Hya with our Coonie we pay just over £10 a month. We stuck to the insurance we got free when she was a kitten as she had to have operations within the 6 weeks and we know the insurance covers her for life for the same condition if it ever occurs again. They were really quick at paying the vets.

Re: Pet insurance

I pay £300 per year for 4 cats through the NFU. When Revel got hit by a car they paid out no problem and it is a good level of cover.

Re: Pet insurance

I DON'T HAVE ANY!!!!! SHOCK HORROR!!!!!eek:

However this is purely and simply based on how many cats (breeding or otherwise) that I have. In the long run for me it makes more sense to make regular payments into the cat account whenever possible, but that also gets hit with the vets bills which recently have been £173 and one a few months ago that was £300+

Hopefully that might be it for this year, but I don't know. It could have ended up cheaper to insure them all?

If it was me and I only had up to 3 or 4 cats, I would deffo go with the insurance. I also insist that all kittens I sell go with it, and of course they get the first 6 weeks free of charge,

Mine is with Petplan, and yes I can give them a good feedback as I had excellent support from them in the past and prompt payment of my vets bills!
