My Beau

My Beau has been missing a week today and we are all devastated, we have looked everywhere for him, my hubby spent the whole weekend searching the estate we live on. He has just vanished, we have put notes through all of the surrounding houses, have been checking internet sites for cats found.

Its the not knowing that is getting to us, we have gone through so many if's, buts and maybe's trying to work out where he could be, and we are praying that he will just come home wondering what all of the fuss is about.

Re: My Beau

So sorry to hear this. It's devastating isn't it. My cat went missing for 6 weeks (!!!) once - I went looking and calling every night and always came back in tears I put posters up all over the place offering a reward. Finally, someone called saying that he had collapsed on their doorstep - I drove over AND IT WAS HIM!

I really hope you have a good outcome. The not knowing is terrible.

Fingers and everything else crossed for you

Re: My Beau

I thought that I found him this afternoon on a rescue site, but they have said that the cat they have isnt microchipped, my boy is. The more I look at the rescue photo the more I think its him, I have just sent them an email incase they were looking at the wrong cats details, the cat on the rescue site was also found in an area not too far from where I live too.

Thank you all for your replies.

Maybe worth going to visit the rescue centre as maybe they can't find the chip as sometimes they move?

Best of luck and hope you find him.

Yes check it out yourself. I was told by rescue centre that cat they found couldnt be mine because it was a girl and when I went to look for myself it was my boy!

Re: My Beau

just got home from the rescue centre, left there in floods of tears, I was 95% sure he was my cat, my hubby did have more doubts though, but the main reason for me being upset was that the woman in charge was so rude to us, she was adamant that he wasnt ours.
