Lost his collar yet again!

Bertie has come home without his collar AGAIN. It drives me mad. What on earth does he do with them? I've posted on this subject before and I don't think there is really a solution, short of superglue, that is. Of course he's microchipped but he's all black and I like him to wear a luminous collar to be seen on the road. Collars seem to be getting quite pricy these days, so anyone know the cheapest place to buy luminous collars?

I probably should bulk buy when I see a bargain next time. I really don't want to pay much because it is such a waste of money when he loses them in no time at all. I don't think of buying little things over the internet, suppose I assumed postage would cost a bomb so it wouldn't be worth it for collars.

Those little tubes are good, but he's lost collars with them on as well. I'm thinking of buying a collar that you can write on with permanent marker and just write my phone number on it.

kittykaz is on a distinguished road
Re: Lost his collar yet again!

I brought a reflective collar with a space to write on from this website.
Buy Reflective Cat Collars Online - The Pet Extraordinarium
Only thing is it has a buckle collar rather than the quick release clip but does have some give in it due to a piece of elastic. I ws a little worried my cat may get caught on something with it on.
Or this one does personalised collars so you can have your name/number on the collar itself. Kitty Collars: Safe Cat Collars UK - Cat Safety Collars UK

Yeah thats a good idea - has your kitty had the safety clasp collars? I found those ones were the worst because obviously they are doing their job and if they get hooked up on something they automatically unclip them - Im getting Jinks microchiped I think as well -

LOL - actually I rephrased it to be more polite on the forum there were a couple of swear words in there too

It is frustrating though when others let them in for food etcxxx

Nobody steals cats round our way, though, more the opposite issue that some people send them out hoping someone else will take them in. I kept putting a note on Bertie's collar in the beginning asking who owns this cat because he was obviously well cared for and just preferred our house. I had a strong suspicion he only came from the next street, but the owners seemed to lay low and I gave in eventually.
