Re: Vets
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss
![]() It seems that a lot of vets only care about making money. I've been checking vets in my area for when Xito comes home. As i was asking about neutering fees for when he is older, in one of the vets they charge £50 at 5 months, £70 at 6-12months or £85 1 year or older ![]() |

![]() I'm definitly not going there with Xito, if they do that for neutering imagine how they're like with everything else . |

Re: Vets
Unfortunatly on most vets i visited i feel they're pushing a sale for all kinds of services. I'm just looking for a check up for when i bring Xito home, want to get to know a good local vet if i need it in the future and find out prices for neutering.
I understand that it is a business, but it does worry me that they're more concerned about making money than in the wellfare of the animals. Last edited by trish1200; 19-05-2008 at 11:44 PM.. |

I still have the receipt in front of me: - Consultation before euthanasia out of hours £58.01 Euthanase Cat £19.48 Cremation Cat £21.66 I did question the bill because I was expecting £90 something plus, well it wasn't treatment but you know what I mean. I was told if they have to euthanise the fee is broken down as owners have gone through enough. It seems to me they can charge what they like. Sue |
