Max does this lol As he is finishing up his pee he tends to lift up a little and spray down the side of the crate! I knew he used to do it in the hooded because it would be a little sticky/splattered when i cleaned it out but its quite funny to see him actually do it. He does seem to like the open air version much more. I think the hooded one was getting a little small/stuffy for him. He has been so good with his toileting

Im going to check down town for a larger crate. He is just using one that we used to use for kids toys so standard sized one and I think he could do with a little more length

Im glad to know its not just me using the storage crates lol they are IDEAL as litter trays!

Effie's Mummy will become famous soon enough
Re: Litter trays

We bought Effie a kitten tray but she grew out of it in about a week! She now has a standard litter tray, non-hooded, from Pets at Home: Large Oval Cat Litter Tray with Rim by Savic-Litter trays-Pets at Home: Buy Pet Supplies from our Online UK Pet Shop

She seems okay with it at the moment, she's still tiny though so she might outgrow it as she gets older.
