Bob Martin Antibacterial Clumping Litter...

We bought Bio-catolet for Enzo and it's proving to be very expensive.

We saw some Bob Martin Antibacterial clumping litter for sale in ASDA, fairly cheap, and I was wondering if anyone else uses this...

Anti-bacterial Lightweight Cat Litter 20L

Thanks!

Re: Bob Martin Antibacterial Clumping Litter...

I just bought the bob martins this week after thinking it was a good price, i've only used a little of it mixed in with the end of a diff bag of litter i had to finish off 1st so not had a proper try of it, though think it seems really similar to the Morrison's own brand clumping litter which both me and the kittens liked but unfortunately we don't have a Morrisons close by to use it all the time.

Re: Bob Martin Antibacterial Clumping Litter...

The only litter I've used from Bob Martin was the crystal one - it was useless!! It didn't absorb ANYTHING. I would empty the tray and a river of pee would be on the bottom of the tray

I much prefer wood pellets. I use pet@home own brand, 30 litres for £8.99 and because I only have the one cat it lasts me on average 2 and a half months

Re: Bob Martin Antibacterial Clumping Litter...

It's weird how some "clumping" litters just don't seem to clump at all.

We've been using Sainsburys Ultra-Clumping litter for years (not the same bag!). About the best clumping litter we've found, and we've tried loads of different 'name' brands. It's £3.90 for 5 litres which might seem pretty expensive but it does a really good job and lasts quite a while.

If we ever have to use a different type of litter the cats look at it as if to say "why on earth have you put this *&%$ in the litter tray?"

Re: Bob Martin Antibacterial Clumping Litter...

I use this for timmy I get no smells, it clumps really well and it isn't dusty either, it tracks a little bit but this may be because timmy kicks it around so much and having three legs gives him a poor aim (especially when he's standing outside his hooded tray looking in covering his tracks lol). I have had trouble getting hold of it as my local ASDA (Bexleyheath) is rubbish but there's a superstore not far from me and I stock up (1 bag lasts me about 2 months and its only £5 (odd) for a 20ltr bag, although you need muscles to carry them lol).

Yes I have used it but I also use the Pets at Home antibacterial litter as it is good value and comes in a big packet. I buy for the month. It does take away the smell well.
