I tried the dvd for cats years ago for my mate's cats and they absolutely loved the fish swimming part of it. Am looking to get one for my two to see what they think of it as they do love watching the fish in my tank lol

Re: Who's fur buddies watch telly?

My OH was in stitches the other week, watching Effie as she sat watching the Grand Prix. I didn't see her but apparently she had her face pressed up against the screen and was moving her head around as the cars zipped round the track!

She also seems to have a love of Sky Sports News, which she must get from her dad. Occasionally she'll jump up next to the screen as the football results are being discussed...we haven't worked out yet which team she is supporting...

Re: Who's fur buddies watch telly?

In the first couple of weeks we had our Pepper, a cartoon came on telly with a couple of kittens playing with a ball of wool. She sat and watched the whole thing through, and when it ended, just got up and sauntered off.

I don't think she was that impressed. As far as I can tell, she never watched anything after that!

Re: Who's fur buddies watch telly?

Tilly watches tele all the time. there was a programme on tonight with some limas and some meerkats. She was glued and even went closer to the tv to get a closer look.
I once bought a bird watching video so i could recognise the different bird sounds when i was out and about. I sat on the settee watching it but when i looked around the room three cats had appeared from knowhere and were watching it with me. It was sooo funny.

Re: Who's fur buddies watch telly?

Remus loves watching 'Meerkat Manor' and any big cat documentaries like 'Cheetah Blood Brothers' or 'Eye of the Leopard'. Its funny when he watches the leopard one because it starts to play and Remus tries to play with the leopard on the TV. He also gets annoyed by sitting on the floor so you need to put a stool in front to make him happy.

Excuse the state of the floor, I was building a new fireplace before laying new flooring.
Sorry but I think it’s cruel to allow Algy & Zeb to watch Newcastle & WBA, the poor things will be scarred for life. ?
For total cat cool get them to watch the Villa.
Strange but true I was thinking about this thread at weekend.
Back on topic we have found Candy being engrossed with darts.

HE HE saw Patrick Stewart last week. He is the Chancellor at my uni

I'm amazed that a lot of your cats will watch programmes with people in! Remus gets bored when people or adverts come on and he waits for a short time and then seems to think the animals have left so he does too. He's very impaitent.
