Re: cat beds

The radiator beds are a favourite with most cats, especially in the winter

Re: cat beds

We got a radiator bed and our twin boys seem to love it but also the love their 'cuddle blankets' which got from Pets at Home and they're by Willow - £7.99 each. They're soft fluff on one side and cotton on the other side - i also got them a bed and they play in it but never sleep in it!

It does but there's a layer of fleece between the cats & the radiator so they aren't in direct contact with the hot metal.

Buy just one to start with - some cats don't like them so try one & see.

Have you a local market? I got some lovely beds at a great price, very cosy, my cats really like them. I've also bought some from here before Cat Beds: on Sale now at zooplus

Re: cat beds

I made both of mine one. Abers was some spare fur fabric I had, made into a cushion cover, I then sewed an old towel into a tube shape and sewed it all around the edge (the towel is black and the fur is leopard so it looks better that it sounds!) stuffed with filling from old pillows/cushions.

Zeldas was an old jumper of mine I sewed into a cushion cover and then with cord trousers stuffed to make the tube shape this time :P The jumper is grey and black stripey so it actually looks quite classy

They both love them and all they cost me was time and old stuff I would have thrown eventually

Pets at home have a christmas pudding bed, they look awesome but are a bit small for my cats Christmas Pudding Cat Bed by Pets at Home-Christmas-Pets at Home: Buy Pet Supplies from our Online UK Pet Shop

Re: cat beds

TK Maxx have some good cat beds, that seem to be the end of lines of some posh brands. I've bought a couple of lovely beds for £8 each in the past couple of weeks. Wilkinsons have some cheapo ones too.

Thats what i did to start and they like to jump in and out playing also. I have now a little wicker bed with a soft fleece throw in it up on the top landing out of the way of all the noise. He will take himself up there for a kip when he wants to . Either that or he will kick the poor dog out of his then i have to find a extra blanket for the dog.
