He's throwing up...

Well, we brought our MC boy home on Saturday afternoon! He is a complete ball of joy!

On Saturday evening, he threw up... I do think this was our fault though - we fed him and then played with him! I know it wasn't a good idea, we got excited and forgot.

Sunday he was fine, although Sunday night he had a nasty poo.

Monday he was fine, solid poo (in our bed........................).

Early this morning he threw up again.

He is otherwise playful, happy and healthy!

My partner and I have a feeling it is just nerves and him getting used to a new house, new people, etc... we are going to give him a few days and see how he is. Do you think this is okay?

He is fed Whiskas in jelly (adult) morning and night, with dry James Wellbeloved (kitten) left throughout the day... he is not fed anything else and has no interest in treats.

Re: He's throwing up...

Thanks! I hope he is okay!

He has been wormed, so I know that isn't an issue (phew!).

I took loads of pictures and posted them in a thread called 'Introducing Enzo...' - I just took another one for you to see!

I bought this bed for him today from Pets at Home... £5 in the clearance section - bargain!!! He loves it!

My handsome boy, Enzo...

Re: He's throwing up...

What a stunner!!!! Did you change his food when you took him home?

He's probably just adjusting, if it carries on though i'd get him checked over.

Re: He's throwing up...

Thanks!!

His breeder was feeding him Whiskas in Jelly and Royal Canin Babycat... we couldn't find the Royal Canin Babycat, so we bought another recommended food, James Wellbeloved Kitten.

My mother in-law did bring around some other brand of food, we did give this to him

My partner and I were speaking about that last night and have decided to keep him on the food we have (Whiskas in Jelly and James Wellbeloved Kitten) and see how it goes.

Hi there, your kitten is a total stunner!!! I want, I want lol...

I would like to point something out... It great that you are feeding it James Well beloved kitten food (great food) but I noticed you are feeding it an adult Whiskas food... The Whiskas also needs to be for kittens also, as the adult type doesn't have everything a growing kitten needs!!!

Thanks

His breeder said that Whiskas kitten food is too rich?

Not sure if this is because he is a large breed cat? Or, is it still best to feed him kitten food? Also, he is 4.5 months old... when does he need to go to adult food? Thanks!
