Im so upset. I was talking about my kittens and someone snapped at me to desex them! I didn’t think that was allowed until they are 6 months old so I said no. The woman was really horrible! : why are people so horrible sometimes. She made out I don’t love my cats 

Ignore her.. for one, you weren't having a conversation with her! and two, what you do with your 'much loved' cats is nothing to do with her!!

some people jump in with both feet without finding out the facts first...

However.. if you are going to desex them, you can get the boys done quite early..
my boy was done at 15 weeks with no ill effect.. some vets like to wait longer though..
girls can be done at around 17 weeks.. good luck

Some people are such idiots

My favourite one was me & my sister (qualified nursery nurse) were out, back when she was 18, we'd taken our recently born (couple of months old) out for a walk round the town & down the beach etc, as you do. Woman comes up to us, says to my sister "I think it's disgusting having kids at your age"

Me being the shy and retiring type, I start saying in very loud voice "Actually, if you'd bothered to actually speak to her, you'd have found out that not only is she a qualified nursery nurse, but she's just taking her COUSIN out for a walk, so what I think is disgusting is people like you making snap judgements about things you know nothing about... Now, APOLOGISE!"

I'd have told this woman to get stuffed, and that she should mind her own biz... you should've said they were pedigree and you were breeding them when they got older

maybe I should just neuture them all to keep everyone happy

Stop worrying about what other people think, its not worth it. I am a past master at caring too much about what everyone else thinks and not what I think. Much happier now, so tell the woman to 'get stuffed'.

I hope you told her to P**s OFF!!! and mind her own business,
so long as they are happy well loved & fed, You do what you feel best for your cats,
