Advice Needed Pls : Ticks and fleas

I bathed Bo this weekend....cause of all the playing outside and climbing trees her paws were pitch black!

While bathing her I noticed a flea! (I had a decent look and could only find one)
I only got flea powder at the moment because she was a bit small for the other stuff.

Which in your opinion works the best?

Tick and flea powder?
The flea collar?
Tick and flea shampoo?
Or the solution that you make and emerge your cat in?

Or all of the above?

And how often do I treat her for ticks and fleas?

Re: Advice Needed Pls : Ticks and fleas

None of the above is worth bothering with, frontline spoton combo available from your vets will get rid of them in your pet and house, supermarket brands such as sherleys, bob martin ect do not work, and are a waste of money.Frontline spray can be used on kittens from 2 DAYS old,so spoton will be safe for your cat.
when fleas are bad you will need to reapply every month.

Re: Advice Needed Pls : Ticks and fleas

There are a few articles on cat fleas here which might help. I find regular grooming, cleaning, hoovering, washing, flea spray (for the house), and most of all Frontline the right combination!
