Has my cat moved out???

I was looking after a friends dog for a couple of weeks, and towards the end I notice Milo coming in less.

I wasn't letting the dog chase him and I thought there would be no problem after a few days because we dog sit my pups sister and the cat's really don't bother. But Ralphie was bigger than our 2 dogs.

Milo came a walk with us on thursday and he was being clingy (quite annoying really as it was distracting the dogs!) but after that he came in less and less.

I have been leaving food out, and I know he hasn't been in for 2 days because Maisy does not eat a whole dish and it hasn't been getting eaten. Also no ''presents'' have been left for me outside.

I have cleaned the dogs beds and hoovered with shake n vac so there is no smell of Ralphie but I am worried if Milo doesn't come back!

He has went missing before but I think he was trapped somewhere because he came back dry in the rain and hungry.

Re: Has my cat moved out???

This happened to my vet. She had an older female cat when she brought in a kitten. The older cat picked up its bags and moved down the street. And then when that owner tried changing the food the cat moved again.

My vet said it has to with the alpha roles cats have. But that doesnt seem to be the case here, sorry.

Re: Has my cat moved out???

He's not home this morning either
I might put up a poster at the shop telling people not to feed him. Maybe lie a little and say he needs special food or something.

Re: Has my cat moved out???

oh no Yeah I would def put a few posters about and give your local vets a call telling them he's missing.

Unfortunately cats are quite territorial and sensitive when new people / pets are brought into the home, one of my cats is really bad even when we have company! ...

Hope you get some good news soon
