Kami is on a distinguished road
What age can they go outside?

Kami is 14w and due his next jabs on wed. He has been with me for 3w now and knows the house/garden pretty well. My house backs onto a large green and is on a culdesac so im sure he will be very safe (there are plenty of other cats around here inc next door) Anyway What age is safe to let them explore? He has already managed to scale the back fence and been for stroll and came tapping at the catflap on the side door to get back in (it was locked as I wasnt expecting him to be wandering around yet!) I had been teaching him the day before how to use the cat flap!

Anyway when is it "safe" to let a kitten out? how long after his last jabs? or is it after hes has been neutered (nov) My biggest worry is cars and if someone tries to nick him. hes a super cute little tabby boy! (but im biased)

If I let him in the garden he is stright over the back fence so I cant even let him in the garden now until he has had his 2nd jab!

Re: What age can they go outside?

Wait till he's been neutered-un neutered males can wander further, obviously mate and get more aggressive towards other cats.
