bo also does that from time to time...Mostly during winter...but i think she is doing that just to get under my hair for the warmth..
She doensnt do it that much now that its summer here by us...Today we had a lovely cloudless day and a max of 32 degrees! I LOVE SUMMER! |

Re: why does rosie think shes a parrot !
HI
Ollie my 18 week old maine coon does that every night. He especially likes it when I have just come out fo the shower and have wet hair whcih he then proceeds to give another thorough cleaning for me!!! lol Not so bad at the moment as he is only 6lb but not sure what will happen as he grows, it is so cuddly when he does it though and he purrs away so happy I haven't got the heart to stop him. It's only at night once we've all been fed etc and settled down for that last hour before bed. Allison XX |

Re: why does rosie think shes a parrot !
Effie likes to do this too, she did it a lot during her first two weeks with us. She is getting more adventurous and brave now, so isn't doing it as often now. She absolutely loved snuggling in my long blonde hair, too, she would nuzzle right into it, purring like mad and suckling on my ears.
We thought it must've been some kind of comforting thing to her.
