Macy's Trimmed Trousers!

Here is a before and after pic of Macy's rear end, I trimm her like this to prevent clingons, as her bottom if left untrimmed is as fluffy as her tail!

I take it you don't show, lol. I trim my queens when they're near the end of their pregnancy, as they get too big to clean themselves. Also round the teats as being longhaired they just end up a matted mess with all the kittens clamouring for a drink, lol. Obviously I can't trim the show cats, baby wipe come in very handy instead.

Macy is just a common moggy, a loveable fluffy one!
if i dont trim her poo gets stuck to her, and its not nice for me or her to clean!

No, it's not, lol. I hate doing it, but needs must sometimes.....the joy of longhairs, haha. Nowt wrong with a common moggy, lol. We have 2 and show both in the HHP Section(Household pet) when we go, our black & white Willow was top HHP for 2007.

My Shadow is long haired, but he dont get cling ons, i think its coz Macy gets her ar** to close to the edge of the tray, then hey stick on the way down. ever since ive timmed her, i've not had this problem

Thanks, neither did I til I started showing my Norwegians. Yea I know what you mean, I have a couple that get cling ons on their tails with them being so long.....the rest you can guess, yuk!!!!

So would you ever shave/clip the fur to eliviate the problem?
I know macy would freak! so would my daughter if i ever shaved the cat!
