My cat run!

Here is some pics of my cat run, it was made so i can open the kitchen window! I would of liked it bigger but i have a gas heater extractor thingy in the way. it has a poly carbonate roof for maximum light in the kitchen, powder coated in racing green, with two shelves for easy acess!
The cats love to sunbathe and i am happy knowing they are safe

Re: My cat run!

Thats fab, I love it!! I bet the cats do to. I take it they're housecats like mine ? We are in the middle off doing more outside for our lot. I have the yard cat proofed as much as I can, but want to make it better & safer. At the minute I don't leave them outside unless i'm out there too.

Re: My cat run!

yes they are indoor cats, my babies!
i'd be mortified if any thing happened to them, now the weather is better i'm going to put some more toys out there for them.

Re: My cat run!

Yay! thats a brilliant cat run. I bet the cats love it! My husband has built the base of my one and is currently making the sides and awaiting the arrival of the mesh for them. We were thinking of a roof like yours as it will be against our conservatory and the cats can gain access through the window if they want to!...does the roof work out ok with the run?

Its perfect! made of galvanised steel as the neighbours fence is FULL of woodworm!!!
But this way it wont rott or fall apart!
poly carb roof is fine, lets light in 2 the kitchen, and window can be opened to the max coz the run is nice and tall

I cant honestly remember, as I know clare n aidy, he made it for me. I remember it was roughly the same as what a wooden run woulda cost, i didn't want wood as neighbours fence is full of WW,so this should last longer. its all securely bolted to the walls,so hopefully i wont get burgulars lol
