I worm myself.
I know what you mean but your post didn't read quite right at first glance.

I preferred to use the spot on de-wormer from the vets, as I couldn't get tablets down Jasper. He shot them out before I could close his mouth. Over the counter products may be better now and improved.

This thread has been very informative, we bring our kitten home next week so its really useful to have an idea of the cost of vet fees.

Re: cookie first visit to the vets

ahh poor little cookie, she had her jabs yesterday and was trembling after. She was quite sleepy after and didnt even have the energy to get out her bed.

She is a bit off her food today but playing as she normally does

roll on 3 weeks when she goes again!! bet she wont get into the cat carrier so easily next time.

Re: cookie first visit to the vets

Haha, Bindi, probably not, lol. Though what I do is leave a carrier about with the door open or off, put a blanket and some toys in, then just let the kitten/cat use it as a plaything. Makes it easier when you want them in it for vets ect
Glad the 1st lot are over with. It does sometimes make them sleepy ect. Cookie(just love that name) will soon be back to normal.
