Neutered Cats

Well it's been two weeks since our kittens were neutured and although they haven't been "straying" as far from the house, they are crazier than ever! Chasing each other round the garden at lightening speeds for hours at a time!

What are other peoples experiences of neutering?

I expected them to calm down a bit not get even crazier!?!

both my cats have been done, and both hare round the house up and down the stairs at lightning speeds! definately crazy, they have no interest in mating, but do sniff each others butts!

Re: Neutered Cats

They hadn't started spraying yet anyway but they were humping each other before they were done which has now stopped! I just hope they haven't impregnated some female somewhere as we had to put off neutering for a while with them being ill!

Kittens dont calm down untill they're grown up!

My Mums cat Nemo, was neutered and next day was bouncing around with Kia the 7 stone alsation! Didn't calm down untill recently, he's now nearly 3!

Re: Neutered Cats

My cat oscar was done a month ago and is still crazy. We didnt let him out until he was done. Instead of fighting with other cats in our area he loves to play with them. He's more interested in chasing bee's.

A cat i had was not neutered. He used to travel quite far and spray around the garden.
