Re: Neutered Cats

My male cat hasn't calmed down at all, in fact he was worse... the minute we let him out of the carrier when we got back from the vets he was diving about and going nuts! You'd think that he felt a little bit delicate

The female still has her moments as well, but she was done before we got her, so I haven't got anything to compare her against.

Re: Neutered Cats

Well at least it's not just mine that are crazy then, some people on here said all they would want to do was sleep after being done and the vets said it would calm them down. I'm so glad they haven't! I was a bit disheartened when I was told they would stop being crazy!

Re: Neutered Cats

It wasn't the cat we had a problem with it was the dog! A few years ago when we got Smudge spayed we still had the dog, Prince and Smudge best friends. When we brought her home after the op he tried to hump her and then her bed!

We phoned the vets to ask about this and when the asked the age of the dog we said 11, they said 'what 11 months', we said 'no, years' and they were gobsmacked!
