Question Raw Meat

Do any of you cat lovers feed your cat/s raw meat ?
I have been told by a Bengal breeder I should feed my cat raw rabbit with the bones (all minced up ) and not to feed her beef as it contains hormonal stuff that the farmers inject their cows for growth...... does anyone feed their cats rabbit?

Re: Raw Meat

Yep, we feed our cats rabbit, but they prefer the raw minced beef. A lot of us Norwegian Forest breeders use both. My 3 week old kittens have just started on tiny bits of raw meat & they love it.

Just fed mine some chicken & orijen... never seen the cat move so fast

Whats a good amount to feed them? Or is it just put it down for half hour or so and see how much they eat?

Re: Raw Meat

Well I leave the Orijen down all day, they eat about 100grams a day between them and they get a small handful of raw meat between them about 3 times a day whenever they ask for it!

Re: Raw Meat

Cool, cheers again AJ.. I've got orijen down for them, which will be left all day, and they'll get a bit of meat in the AM, and a bit at night too, they're loving it so far
