Does any one know much about Birmans?

Was just wondering if any one knows anything about Birmans?

I will be looking for a friend for Alfie at some point.

I like the look of Birmans but I don't know anything about them, anyone have any experience with this breed?

Hi Bee

Personally I think Raggies are best!!!

However, visit >>>Baygazer Birmans - Cat Information<<< - there is a link on this site to the Northern Birman Cat Club. This is Vanessa Keeping's site who has been breeding Birmans for several years. I am sure if you contact her she will give you lots of help and advice.

If you want another Raggie why not consider taking on a rehome
ragsrescue. To be honest we don't have many kittens - usually the cats we have surrendered to us are from about 15 months upwards. You would expect to pay around £100 adoption fee for a rehome (covers vaccinations etc).

have thought of a rescue raggie but as I live in a flat in a built up area don't know if they'd allow that.

Would love another Ragdoll, just trying to find out about other breeds too

Hi Bee

The fact you live in a flat would not at all preclude you from having a rehome Raggie as Raggies are indoor cats (unless you take them out on a harness or have a cat pen). The Ragdoll Rehome Group always try to match the cat to the person (and their household) not just on a first come first served basis.

Home checks are always undertaken on each prospective adopter.
