Best books...

For an all round guide to cats/kittens, care, breeds, training, etc.

I just want to swot up and have something to read about my kitten, You know how you can buy pregnancy books that tell you all aspects, I was wondering which is the best book for all aspects of cats/kittens

Re: Best books...

I know the rspca does a good book. Try out waterstones or whsmiths.

For my kitten ive got a ' A Kittens First Year'. It's an easy to understand book and i still read it now and again. I do not know if it still available but i got it from The Works.

Re: Best books...

Thanks, Ive seen quite a few from the RSPCA Ive been looking on Amazon, i dont mind if theyre brand new because 10mins after they get here crinkled pages and coffee spillages are normal lol. I shall goto the works, ive always had excellent books from there and affordable. Will have a look for the RSPCA and 'A kittens first year' Thankyou again

Edit: Sorry to be a pain in the backside, Would you mind telling me the author of 'A Kittens first year' Amazon have them many available its unreal lol.

Just been looking at that very same book (kittens for dummies) It looks good and has fantastic reviews, Im not planning on breeding as im such a newbie with just looking after one Would you recommend the 'Kittens for dummies' then or is it going to say

"A cat has a nose, a cat has whiskers, a cat eats cat food" lol Or is it more....

Here are the basics, This is what you will need, This is how to look after your kitten etc
